Social Development & Community Reporting
At ATEP MED – Arab Digital Center for Media and Development, we develop professional social development and community reporting that documents local realities, highlights community voices and brings greater visibility to initiatives that contribute to social and economic development.
Our work focuses on understanding and communicating the needs, challenges, experiences and aspirations of communities, particularly in underserved, rural and vulnerable areas. We combine field reporting, journalism, research, interviews, documentation and development communication to produce credible and meaningful content.
We report on a wide range of social and development issues, including poverty and inequality, social inclusion, employment, youth, women, education, vocational training, local development, rural communities, access to opportunities, community initiatives, social and solidarity economy, environmental challenges and sustainable development.
Our approach gives particular importance to local knowledge and community perspectives.
